Bachelor party or stag parties as they are more often called are held a few days prior to the wedding day. Grooms let their hair down and enjoy the party to the fullest, without fear or favor and minus any restraint. Grooms and his retinue of best men see that the party is one that they or the guests will never forget and will be talked about for many years to come. While at a bachelorette party one would be sure that the bride's friends would bring sensible gifts the same cannot be said about the groom's friends who will more often than not come up with strange and sometimes absurd gifts which when opened in public as these gifts generally are will cause embarrassment and downright humiliation.
